DOLPHIN DEMOCRATS’ NOMINATIONS

FOR OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS 2013

(Election to be at next Dolphin’s meeting on February 13, 2013)

Dolphin Democrats need 11 directors and if they amend their bylaws next meeting, then 5 of the directors will serve 2 year terms and the remaining 6 will serve 1 year terms.   If the amendment is not approved at the next Dolphin Democrats meeting, then all Directors will serve 1 year terms

Dolphin Democrats need 4 executive officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) who will serve 1 year terms unless the bylaws are changed at the next meeting to extend these terms to 2 years.

To qualify to run you must be a Dolphin Democrat member and paid your 2013 dues 45 days BEFORE the vote.

You can self-nominate or nominate qualified applicants any time prior to the next meeting and at our next meeting.   Nominations will be closed and the election will occur at our next meeting on February 13, 2013.

Note: If you wish to run for President or Vice President, then you must have an opposite sex co-nominee.   For example, if someone is interested in being President, they must find another person who is of opposite sex to run for vice president position “on the same ticket”.
