Over the past several months, issues of transgender people facing discrimination have been rampant. From Susan Stanton’s firing in Largo for transitioning, to Los Angeles Times sports columnist Mike Penner’s announcement that he was taking a leave of absence from his job in order to transition to female, the issues facing transgender people across the country have been widely publicized.

Join the Human Rights Campaign and the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of South Florida to discuss these issues and hear from Susan Stanton and transgender activist Blue on their personal experiences.
